Medijobs Australia Managing Director, Farah Rizvi established Medijobs Australia in 2003 in response to a gap in the national allied health recruitment market. She lived in England, India and America before moving to Australia and completed a Bachelor of Business at the University of Newcastle.
Prior to Medijobs Australia, Farah worked at News Limited as an Agency Job Ads Account Manager and worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at a large international recruitment agency.
Farah is passionate about recruitment and the driving force behind our enthusiastic, dedicated team. When she’s not visiting clients, interviewing candidates or mentoring the team, you’ll find her skateboarding, SUPS (stand up paddle surfing) or kayaking. She’s also been known to out-dance her toddler if the right Wiggles tune comes on. For reflecting, reading and inspiring toddler napping, Classical music is her choice. A committed animal-lover, Farah volunteers at the RSPCA.
Connie Morrall is Medijobs Australia's National Operations Manager one of our Allied Healthcare Specialist Recruiters. She started out her working life as an accountant, but soon discovered she’d rather work with people.
Her first move away from accounting was into tourism - as the Australian representative for the Hawaiian Visitors Bureau. This tough job involved showing travel agents around the beautiful Hawaiian Islands and drinking Mia Tais!
Soon enough Connie adventured away from tourism into recruitment. For many years she worked with the esteemed John Plummer, who became her mentor when she opened her own agency in Sydney.
After running her successful agency for 19 years, Connie moved home to Queensland where she is raising her teenage son and dreaming of Mai Tais. Two cats and a six month old black Labrador also keep her busy, and in her spare time she enjoys walks on the beach, fishing on the river and kayaking.
Renee Reynolds is Medijobs Australia's National Recruitment Manager. With a solid background in Allied Health Recruitment, Renee is committed to ongoing professional development. She has completed an Institute of Personnel Recruiters course and is a member of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association.
Renee’s work life has included roles as media buyer, traffic controller, personal assistant and production coordinator with a large international advertising agency. Her first taste of recruitment was with Centacom Staff where she worked for nine years as a manager in specialist (advertising) and generalist sections of the agency. Renee ran her own recruitment agency for 15 years in Sydney before moving to Queensland and joining Medijobs Australia in 2012.
When Renee’s not matching great candidates with roles, she lives up to her motto of “getting the most out of this wonderful life”. She is passionate about health and fitness and has completed an Olympic Distance Triathlon and six half-marathons. She’s by far the best singer in the office and is a member of her local community choir.
Shay Manger is our Medijobs Australia Resourcing Manager. Born and raised on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, she is passionate about finding candidates who match what our clients are looking for. She also ensures our huge database is kept in order, liaises with clients and candidates and polishes resumes.
Shay previously worked in retail and administration.
When Shay’s not at her desk or around the office ensuring everything’s running smoothly, you’ll find her outdoors. Her favourite activities include hanging out at the beach, fishing, watching AFL, playing netball and spending time with her family. She’s also a great cook!
